My name is Harvey Fleming and I am currently pursuing my dream at the University of Portsmouth as a Computer Games Technology Student. I am very passionate about games as well as the development process! What excites me most about games is their ability to fully immerse players and allow them to explore other worlds. I am always looking to expanding my knowledge and seeking interesting opportunities to create fun and unique experiences. I am eager to contribute my skills to innovative projects and explore new horizons in game development.

Created as part of a group of seven students. Developed with the aim of having a playable steam demo.

Main Responsibilities and contributions:

  • Acted as main programmer - Developed the base systems in order to allow other developers to implement content with little input.

  • Developed Base Systems:

    • Hexagon-Based Tile System

    • Modular Card System - XML data

    • ​Entity System - Health, A* pathing

    • Utilized Yarn Spinner to create simple dialogue events within the game

Included in the University of Portsmouth CCI Graduate Showcase 2025. Timeframe: 1:36-1:50

Ghost Game (In Development)

First Person Horror Ghost hunting

Made in Unity. Using FMOD for Audio.

Began Development as part of a Self-employed placement year at University of Portsmouth.

Main Responsibilities and contributions:

  • Acted as a solo developer.

  • Ghost Behaviour - Navmesh, Ghost Type Evidence, 'Manifestation' events

  • Player Equipment

  • Collectable Generation System

  • FMOD

A Card Game based around telling jokes, made as part of the Global Game Jam 2024 - Make Me Laugh

  • Acted as Programming Lead - assigning tasks to programmers, and communicating issues to producers.

A simple adventure platformer created for the Games For Love charity platform Jampack. Fully programmed by me!
